While completing my degree at ACM I had a opportunity to recorded and mix using top of the range Studio Equipment; including a SSL Duality console, on which this track “Little Bird” was entirely recorded an mix.
As well as gaining experience using a number of different consoles and studio set ups, I also made many recordings on location. Please see the ‘Location Recordings page for more details.
Manchester City College
HDN, Music Production, 2008 - 2010
Before studying at ACM I complete at two year HND Music Production course at Manchester City College. The course was very varied as we studied many different aspects of the music industry, including, General music production (Recording, Mixing and Mastering), Business, Music in Film, Live Sound, Music Synthesis, Modern compensation and many more.
As much of the coursework was completed in groups, I gain a great deal of experience working within a team to achieve a common goal. A skill that I have found to be absolutely essential when working on any type of project.
