Betty Blight EP

This collection of tracks from the talented Betty Blight were recorded mainly in the home of the artist using a very humble recording set up. These restrictions lead to a more creative recording processes and I feel that the production of the records more than make up for it’s limitations.

 

Working with an open minded artist such as Betty Blight, meant I was free to experiment with different ideas in the mix and create an ambient that I felt complimented the mood of her songwriting. 

 

The musical style is very strongly influenced by old English folk and it was important for both the artist and myself to push boundaries but also stay true to the genere.
